We opened Santa Cruz Hydroponics and Organics in 2003 with a small store on the west side of Santa Cruz, before anyone even really knew what hydroponics was. Our goal of being the most complete hydroponic and organic gardening store in Northern California was just a dream back then. A few years later, we opened a second store on the east side of Santa Cruz (Soquel) and one in Felton. One of our friends in Oregon then opened a satellite store in Corvallis, OR. As business grew, our knowledge and enthusiasm grew along with it. Because people were driving over the hill to see us, we then opened our first store in the Silicon Valley (Mountain View), renamed it South Bay Hydroponics and Organics, and in about a year’s time we saw the need to supply San Jose with a centrally located store too. So in 2009, we opened another South Bay store in the heart of San Jose, on Bascom Avenue. Our customers have responded with overwhelmingly positive feedback. You can also find us in Colorado at Rocky Mountain Hydroponics and Organics, located in the beautiful town of Golden. Our most recent, welcome addition is called Grow Your Own Hydroponics and Garden Supply in San Francisco in the Sunset District.

So you see, we are growing fast in order to keep up with customer demand. Tell us where you want us, and we will look into it.
